Step one: Put on a bikini
There you go, you have a bikini body.
We put so much pressure on ourselves to have a perfect figure for summer and feel like we can't head to the beach without one. Just think of it like this, once you get older what are you going to remember, the amazing memories you had or the fact you didn't go on holiday cos your belly was too wobbly.
Life is far too short to let how you feel about your appearance get in the way of living your life to the fullest.
Here's some ways to increase your body confidence over the summer months:
Exercise
This isn't just for weight loss but you will genuinely feel so much more positive about yourself when you dedicate some time for exercise. Not only will you feel a lot healthier and more toned but those endorphins are bound to make you feel just a tiny bit happier in yourself.
Eat healthy
This is for the exact same reasons as above. The more healthy you feel in yourself the more confident you will become. This does not mean your not allowed to treat yourself though, it's all about balance, If you want an icecream on a hot day go for it! Don't deprive yourself as it will leave you feeling miserable, just making healthier choices here and there will leave you feeling amazing.
Check who you follow on socials
Have a scroll through your social, Is there a lot of highly edited tiny girls in bikinis on there making you feel like you're not good enough? Unfollow them, I'm sure they wont mind. Things like that just put things in your head that you're not good enough when you are! you're amazing just the way you are! Switch it up and find some body positive influencers that are less likely to edit their pictures and are confident in their own body.
Wear something that makes you feel a million dollars
Find some outfits that make you feel amazing, even some bikini's and swimsuits. If you feel confident in what you're wearing your confidence will shine through. It's all about you, don't worry about anyone else.
Have the best summer, focus on you and don't let anything stop you from doing what you want to do, memories are the most important thing. Go out and make them!
